Indian Boundary Lake, (OUR PICK to see!)
3.5 miles of biking or hiking around a 93 acre lake
We found Indian Boundary Lake as a nice and easy ride in mountain lushness, along a large beautiful lake. You might want to cool off in the lake after your ride. Remember to pack a picnic. The view is pretty!

Bald River Falls Trail
5.6 miles of walking trail that begins at Bald River Falls Trail and goes through wilderness-easy hiking.

John Muir Trail
18.8 miles of walking trails that connects to other recreations. The trail was named after John Muir, founder of the Sierra Club. The trail sports beautiful views of creeks, Hiawassee River Gorge, and natural wild flowers-moderate hiking.

3.0 mile trail through forests, creeks, & boulders to a hidden jewel. Some of the trail is steep hiking and strenuous. But, your effort is rewarded with a magnificent waterfall! You’ll definitely experience the WOW! factor.

Scenic Drives

Tellico River Road, Hwy 165/FS Road 210
Follow the Tellico River up to Bald River Falls then up to the Tellico Fish Hatchery. At the end of River Road, you’ll find the Hatchery. Its’ concrete pools are loaded with rainbow trout. The fish are released into the river every week, this provides for GREAT fishing.

Cherohala Skyway, Hwy 165, (OUR PICK to see!)
Start on Hwy 165, bearing left up to the Cherohala Skyway. You’ll find yourself riding on 51 miles of scenic mountain views of the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forest. The view at the end of the day, with the sun setting in the west is breathtaking and definitely unforgettable.
